Nekhbet

The vulture goddess responsible for protecting Upper Egypt (the reason why the ancient Egyptians always made vulture goddesses was because they thought vultures were solely female). Her center of worship was Nekheb, home to the oldest oracle shrine in all Egypt. She and her sister Wadjet are the two primal goddesses associated with protecting all deities in Egypt.
